Admission to the driving school is possible less than 18 months before the end of education and training, i.e. before reaching the age applicable to the given group. Put simply: you can start a driving school "date of birth - (minus) 18 months". NOT earlier.

Example: the student will be 18 years old on 30 August 2024, i.e. to the driving school at the A2 can start as early as 1/3/2023 and later after this date. Teaching and training will thus be completed for the student only on 30 August 2024, and only then can he pass the final exams.
Risks: take into account that if you enroll in a driving school 18 months before your birthday, it will be in the student's best interest to take extra driving lessons and theory lessons before the exams, because after many months of not learning and driving, you will almost certainly forget everything.

Our recommendation: it is optimal to start a driving school no earlier than 3-4 months before reaching the age of majority. In this way, the student will not forget the teaching and practice practiced before the exams.

Warning: take our recommendations above seriously in your own interest, according to the amendment to the law on driving schools, a driving school student may namely to repeat the final exams only 2 times (the so-called "3 times is enough"). And if he doesn't pass the test (theoretical or practical) even a third time, he repeats the entire driving school process (the entire driving school) from the beginning.

Applies to all driving license groups.
